This series consists of reports from state directors on mass compliance drives carried out in particular cities and industries; summaries of mass compliance activities in various states; statistical tabulations concerning mass compliance activities in particular regions; and interoffice memorandums concerning the introduction of mass compliance surveys. There are also records of a mass compliance survey in the boot and shoe industry which include memorandums from state compliance directors relating to economic conditions of the industry, evidences of violations, attitudes of employers toward the codes, the degree of compliance in the industry in various states, the size of factories and the number of employees, reports of field adjusters, reports of interviews, and form reports on conditions of employment.
